Hornsby TAFE Block J — Aerial & Close-Up Asset Inspection

Commissioned to document Block J at Hornsby TAFE, combining full aerial photography of the roof with detailed close-up inspection imagery of all rooftop assets. The aerial coverage mapped out the entire roof layout, condition, and drainage lines, giving a complete top-down view of the building in one shot.

The close-up pass then catalogued each individual asset across the roof — static lines, ladders, anchor points, brackets, mechanical units, back trays, cappings, and dektites. Every item was captured in high-resolution detail to support ongoing maintenance records, compliance reporting, and future inspection benchmarks.

Commercial facilities like TAFE campuses carry dozens of rooftop assets that need regular documentation. A single drone visit replaces hours of manual inspection and produces a visual record that's easy to reference, share with stakeholders, and compare against over time.
